I’ve seen God move miraculously many times, both for me personally and for other people.

I witnessed my very first miracle at a youth camp when I was 13 when one of the ‘cool kids’ had a significant supernatural experience in front of all of us, which completely changed him. Straight after he recovered from this dramatic encounter, he started praying for people, and a person suffering from years of chronic pain was instantly healed.

Since then, I’ve experienced many personal miracles - from the restoration of my marriage TWICE and extravagant financial provision to three of our kids getting accepted into a school with a crazy long wait list.

The most recent miracle for me personally, and one I’m still journeying through, is the shock testicular cancer diagnosis I received earlier this year. This was the last thing I was expecting for 2024.

How easy it would’ve been to remove myself from the world and just blame God. Instead, I choose to say thank you to God for all the good in my life and put my trust in Him that He will get me and my family through this.

God moved and put the resources and people in place ahead of time so that I could get it removed quickly. It only took 10 days from when I saw my GP to the day of surgery, and only 7 days from when I got the confirmed diagnosis from an ultrasound. There is no doubt in my mind that God moved. He knew what was going on and got it sorted.

Am I out of the woods yet? About 99% thanks to 2 rounds of chemo that knocked pretty hard.

I thank God that it didn’t spread and that it was removed so quickly. I also thank God for the conversations I’ve been able to have with my customers, competitors, and family about God and how I trust that He has it under control and that He’s a good father.

My day job as a sales consultant / Lighting Engineer takes me into relationships with many who don’t yet know the love of God. So being able to talk about my faith so openly and authentically at this time has been a wonderful blessing.

Finding ways to naturally share my faith in a way that people are open to hearing it is something I’ve struggled with a lot. This journey I’ve been on with cancer has enabled me to share more openly and have some great conversations about my faith. The first thing customers ask me is how I’m doing. That question invites me to share what’s happening in my life and how I’m trusting God to see me through it. I pray that through sharing this way I’ve encouraged people to consider what God can do in their own lives.

So, what’s your miracle? What has God done in your life that you need to tell other people about?

I can guarantee there are more miracles in your life than you think.

I pray that my story will inspire you to share your stories and experiences with those around you in your life.
